Jennifer O'Neill, M.D., F.A.C.S. is Board Certified by the American College of Surgeons. For the past 18 years, her practice has specialized exclusively in benign and malignant diseases of the breast. She founded Arizona Breast Consultants with the specific intention of giving her patients a higher, more comprehensive understanding of their disease process, provided in a compassionate, caring manner. She has been a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and is active on the ethics and educational committees.

Dr. O'Neill attended the University of Tennessee Medical School (Memphis), followed by the University of Illinois, Peoria for her Surgical Internship. Her General Surgery residency training was finished at Michigan State University. The next six years were spent in private practice in rural Virginia performing the entire gamut of general surgery, which was a life goal.

In 2000 Dr. O'Neill entered a Hepatobiliary Fellowship at the University of Virginia to expand her training. However, three months prior to completing this advanced training, her mother was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer after having had early stage disease many years before. This life-changing event lead Dr. O'Neill to shift her focus to breast cancer, and it has been her passion from that moment on. She finished the next 9 months studying breast surgery exclusively and subsequently accepted a faculty position at Vanderbilt University prior to moving to Arizona.

She is married and has 2 boys actively serving in the United States Army. Her hobbies are hiking, photography, gardening, and road trips through the beautiful backroads of Arizona.
